About
Welcome. This is a simple home for my amateur radio activities. QTH: DN40. I also hold the GMRS callsign WSMK983. More content to come.
I can often be found monitoring 146.52 MHz simplex, the Intermountain Intertie repeater network, and SLC-area GMRS repeaters owned by WQFS702, especially SLC EAST 1 and SLC WEST 1.

APRS
APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System) is a ham radio network used to exchange real‑time information such as station position, short messages, and telemetry via packet radio. I occasionally beacon using an APRS‑capable HT or a mobile app; those packets are gated to the public APRS‑IS so they’re visible on the web. You can view recent activity here: aprs.fi (KM7GAN).
